A Little Personal History...

The journey began with a search for inner peace when I was a teenager. For many years, this led me to delve deep within myself, to understand my emotional nature. Meditation became an integral part of my daily life.

In due course I discovered complementary therapies and learned Reflexology and Reiki in 1998. Reiki was the start of finding peace. Both Reiki and meditation helped me through difficult times. I undertook many courses that culminated in Karuna Reiki® and I subsequently became a teacher of Reflexology, Reiki and Karuna Reiki®.

I continued with my spiritual healing journey learning other therapy modalities until I began to feel a deep yearning to learn from an enlightened spiritual master. In 2001 I found my guru Amma.

In my master I found all that I had been looking for. I undertook all the spiritual practices suggested by my guru with great passion and dedication.

In 2004 I had a sudden awakening, helping me glimpse into my true nature. Since experiencing the uncaused joy and bliss that is inherent in the Self, I have come to understand that our natural state cannot be reached through effort. It simply occurs when we let go of effort.

Stillness and peace are our natural state. When we are in our natural state, our inner beauty shines forth from the core of our being. In this natural state our minds and hearts are united, open and all is well.
