“I attended the Reiki 1 Beginners Course and can only say that it has been the start of a turning point in my life. I was initially a bit nervous of attending but as soon as I entered Katarina’s home I felt instantly at ease. She is very warm and welcoming and the group that I was with have now become friends. The Reiki Course itself is a very relaxing but busy two day course and it is worth every penny spend! On the first course Katarina opens you up to the Reiki energy through a relaxing ritual and goes on to teach you how to do the healing on yourself and others.

I have since used the Reiki on my family (even my sceptic partner who is the one that asks me to do it over and over again!). “It was a strange feeling, something was very different, gone was the heavy dark blanket restraining me, strangling me holding me down. I just knew that for the last 40 years I had disappeared and now something within me was urging me to search for the real reason of my existence. “I had the pleasure recently to refresh and upgrade both my Reiki Levels I and II at ‘Living in the Light’ in Little Clacton, under the direction of Reiki Master, Katarina Tilley. Whilst I found the two days to be very intensive and full-on I have to say I completely enjoyed the whole experience.

Katarina is very knowledgeable and experienced in Reiki and other healing modalities and easily guides you through the whole experience with sensitivity and humour. I felt completely at ease the whole time I was there.

I have a lot of new things to take on board now but it is fair to say my Reiki seems more intense and deeper than I have experienced before.

“I have recently had the pleasure of achieving Shinpiden Level (Reiki Master Teacher) at Living in the Light Meditation Centre by my Reiki Master Teacher, Katarina Tilley. The course was conducted under strict social distancing rules. The course was again full-on, especially on the first day and I went home that evening completely exhausted. Katarina covered an incredible amount of content but always at a pace that suited me and she always made sure I understood each topic before she moved on to the next. She has an amazing teaching style that is both sensitive to the student’s need but being incredibly effective at the same time.

If you want to become a Reiki Master and have any thoughts of personal ego then these are soon knocked out of you, not only by the amount of course work but by the subtle way Katarina guides you through the responsibilities this level demands.

I read recently that become a Reiki Master is not the end of your training but is in fact the beginning of your training into self mastery.
